Buyer's Responsibilities:

• Have the puppy examined by a vet of your choosing within 3 working days of pick-up/delivery.  If the puppy is deemed not fit for sale at that time, the Buyer must notify the seller immediately by phone or e-mail.  Failure to do this will result in cancellation of the guarantee.
• Provide the puppy with routine health care such as but not limited to:

          -Annual physical exams

          -Regular vaccinations and de-worming

          -Start puppy on heartworm & flea/tick prevention at the first vet visit

Puppy must be paid for in full by the delivery or shipping date or all deposits and payments and all claims to the puppy will be forfeited.  All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable, unless the puppy you have chosen dies or becomes unsaleable while in our care.

Health Guarantee:

• This puppy is guaranteed for 2 years against congenital diseases which adversely affect the health of the animal.  "This includes severe hip dysplasia, kidney, heart, pancreas, spine and liver problems of a life threatening or life altering nature.  If the dog dies within the two year time frame, the buyer agrees to have an autopsy performed to determine the cause of death.  If the reason is congenital, the seller will replace the puppy.  No refunds will be given.
• This guarantee does not cover conditions that are considered normal within the Chihuahua breed:  luxating patellas of grade 1 or grade 2 or skin allergies.  It also does not cover thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, other autoimmune disorders, or physical disabilities resulting from injury.
• Seller is not responsible for any medical expenses incurred by the buyer.
• At the delivery date, this puppy will have received proper vaccinations and de-worming appropriate for it's age.
• This guarantee covers Parvovirus for the period of 3 days from pickup/delivery of puppy.
• This guarantee does not cover coccidia, giardia or bordetella.

Replacement guidelines:

A puppy showing signs of any genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows:

• Dog must show signs of the defect by two years of age.
• Seller must be notified within 2 business days of the licensed veterinarian's determination.  This diagnosis must also be documented by a second vet, independent of the first vet or his associates.
• A puppy with a defect must be returned to the seller to qualify for a replacement puppy.
• A returned puppy must be returned to the seller in good condition, other than the specified problem, at the buyer's expense.  All paperwork, including registration papers must be returned with the puppy.  The owner will then qualify for a replacement puppy.
• This guarantee applies to the original puppy and purchaser and is not transferable to a second party.
• Replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable quality.  It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact parents of the original puppy.

Seller makes no guarantee or warranty that the buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy.  On the contrary, the seller strongly encourages the buyer to have the puppy spayed or neutered by 6 months of age.  Spayed and neutered puppies make much better pets.

This contract is null and void if the terms and conditions are not met.

By signing, the buyer agrees that he/she has read the above contract and does agree with all terms.  Any disputes with the seller shall take place in the city of St. Louis, MO.
